Christmas and the Holidays

It has been a while since we have updated our blog and it is time we did so. This last December marked our first anniversary of being married. My love for Melinda has grown exponentially in that year. It was my greatest year that I have had in my life and I expect that with Melinda at my side each year will surpass the last. I am so happy.
Christmas was fun, we probably over did it for ourselves but it was fun. Melinda got everything I wanted and more. And I hope I got Melinda what she wanted but she seemed happy so I think I did well. Of course we got to talk to Blake (Melinda's brother who is on his mission in Lubbock Texas), that was fun to hear his voice and hear some of his experiences. We have some pictures that I will post later(knowing me sometime in July probably).
The day after Christmas me and Melinda went down to St. George and visited Melinda's grandma. It was fun seeing her again. When we got there she had cooked us pork spare ribs they were so good. We then watched the video they played at Grandpa's funeral, it was good to get to see Grandpa Cousins as I did not have a chance to know him while he was here. The next day we took Grandma to Kohl's to exchange a shirt she had gotten for Christmas. We then left to go back north it was a simple but fun trip.
New Years with Ryan and Sarah and family was a blast. We simply played ticket to ride which Melinda won, ate snacks and blew whistle things at midnight. It was fun though I think I annoyed Nathan with my whistle. Poor Nathan.
All and all it was a fun year.
